Yeah, I think that would be really cool. Kinda like an X Facebook? I'd be very interested. Would be cool to post what your doing, problems your having, pictures, and such.
Many people on my Facebook could give a poop less about my ski. Would be cool to tell about whats going on epecially to those that show interest.
I now regret not doing a "My Ski" thing because I'm not at the start and I've progressed so much with my build and skill.

What??? I thought that's what we already were able to do here. Builds/events/riding groups... Might as well hook us up with our own twitter feeds. @jetskidude"getting ready to attempt backy" wait 10sec. @jetskidude"NAILED it, but nosed it in a little and didn't ride it out" wait 15sec. @jetskidude"going to world finals for sure"

Each person would have a 'blog' available on their profile they could keep updated. Updates will show up on the New Activity stream and people can comment on it just like threads. Think of it like a personal thread where your posts are always at the top (I think).
I have the license, it's an official vbulletin extension of the forum, and had it setup at one time but never really let people know about it.
We can try it out and if it doesn't work out or get used much can drop it.

My question is how are you going to see if someone had "blogged". Is there gonna be a "newsfeed" or something like that so you can see everyone's stuff and if you are interested in what they are doing you go to their profile to see the whole story.
Yes, new blog posts would show up in the What's New results or New Blog Posts under that (once I activate it later today).

It's active. Up top there is a Blogs tab where you can read them, post a new entry, subscribe to people's blogs, etc. Blog entries show up in the What's New and elsewhere.
You don't have to use it, the forum works just like always, but it might be a good place for people to do their builds so they're easy to follow the build itself. You could also take your build thread and copy your own posts as blog entries if you want.
