Hey! I am playing cupid and having a total blast!!! :woot:

Tzane just left here on his way around the corner to meet a very pretty stylist I am acquainted with (she hates her current boyfriend, LOL). He just called as I was typing to say that he is walking really slowly from his Expedition in the rain, so that he is soaking wet when he meets her (wants his t-shirt drenched and clinging I guess…LOL)!! Both of them plan to call me with an update after he receives his military buzz; meanwhile, I am impatiently awaiting the verdict! What fun!!!!!! :Banane13:

If they do this Wed/Thurs, they are surely wetarded.
You guys wait and wait for this surf, and when it comes in decently, you do not go when/where it decides to really hit. Makes NO sense!
Hugo, Ponce, Sebby

Daytona waves were a blast today! No one died! Everyone had fun, except maybe wolf child at times.

So your weather knowledge tells you that katia skipped the spot. Great waves at ponce and sebby to the south and to the north at hugo but nada for el spoto, huh?

At least Chris stopped using Magic Seaweed though.

Don't kid yourself, Never stopped using Magicseaweed !!

Took longer than I thought!

Really?? Cupid??

Happy for tzane and all, but really? This is a SURF forum thread. Whenever there is SURF, you say dont go in the SURF because of blah, blah, blah.....

Why dont you start your own thread of somekind, somewhere?

Ponce inlet Has crap. the only way you are gonna get anything clean is to go out quite a ways past the Jeddy. I'm out there on my boat almost daily, I know what the inlet looks like.

Suzi. here's a quarter to go buy yourself a clue.

1. Magic Seaweed bites.
2. Did I say Fl riders should not ride surf on this one? Nope.
3. The zone didn’t look unworthy to me by any means, but Hugo (early A.M), Tona’s Ponce, and Sebby looked MUCH better. This is truth.

And MOST importantly, incoming reports just stated my cupid attempts were worthwhile!!! :smlove2:

And now, I am back to watching the U.S. Open, because it is more interesting than you guys (American/Russian going at it/American favored, yet we shall see)!

Had a very cool ride at the spot (after work). We all had a great time. 10' faces easily. Wind was from the east, but light. A bit more choppy than the Irene Saturday...but a helluva lot of fun.
BTW: The EPA has banned cameras at the spot....something about turtles...lol.
Great time!
Hoping the wind turns and the swell holds for tommorrow eve.

I'm joking.

Some members believe "spot riders" are camera challenged.

After the first cam broke, I quit. Don't need the agg. Love pics/vids, but love riding more.

I have a pretty good memory.......over time, it even makes the waves bigger! lol.

9:30 pm… Night Time Note: I just checked out local buoy and it is the largest it has been yet!!! 9.8 feet at 14.8 seconds! This means the swell… as of nightfall … is still increasing! And anyone who surfed just before dark knows the swell is getting bigger and bigger! Goodness gracious! Tomorrow morning could be epic! Oh gosh , let me turn down the hype meter. Hopefully only drunks late at night are reading this and the true dawn patrolers are already sleeping. Lol… they will be rewarded…

Hope it holds!!!

Yes, the buoy matters when it's groundswell!

THURSDAY: Wind W/NW 5-14 mph, becoming onshore in the afternoon. Waves starting out at 2-3′ (occ + am) in long period E/ENE Katia ground swell, slowly dropping in size toward evening.

note the report states 2-3....on set was EASILY 10' faces......had to time it right to bunny hop the whitewash which was 3' tall itself...

FRIDAY: Wind lightoffshore early, becoming E/SE 5-13 mph by late morning/early afternoon with waves 1.5-2.5 (occ + am) in lingering long period ENE Katia ground swell.

SATURDAY/SUNDAY: Wind light/variable in the morning, becoming SE/S 5-14 mph withwaves 1-occ 2′ in residual/diminished swell.

tmrw night going to be same as tonite but smaller....even if its half the size it'll just be more rideable

I'll rehook at lunch tomorrow...already fueled and ready, bilge pump is broken but out of sight out of mind.....

makes me want to hook up LEDs like crazy and ride right NOW
