Why RN poles on SN skis?

i wouldnt grind the brkt. i just took a little off the pole. not near as much as ive seen posted here before and mine will extend all the way up. i just did a little at a time and kept putting it back on to check. in these pics the pole holds it self up to a plus to not taking to much off.

if you remove the rubber bump stop and grind the end of the pole it will go all the way up.

Mine still has the rubber stop, and the pole is ground.

I like the KAWI Pole on the SXR, AC's and UMI's absolutly suck on SXR's!!!!!!!!

Those are fighting words!!! I think my SXR handles 1000 times better with my -2 UMI and -2 Blowsion Superjet steering! :cool2:

i ground off the stock sn brackets stop that sticks up, and part of the sides were the lil rubber bumpers are, then ground some of the pole. it works now it gets pretty high not all the way up and i may grind some more off the pole so it will lift a little higher.

i'll get some pics later when i get home.

I have a question.

If your putting a round nose pole on a Square ski, which bracket are you using? the stock Square bracket? And just trim the end of the pole?

A lot of people use the SN bracket with the RN pole and a bunch of grinding. RN Bracket needs to be lowered and won't let the pole extend up very far. I came up with my own bracket after searching for different ways to do this. Link below
