haha. Yeah I saw some guy in Daytona that only had turf in his footholds. The rest of the tray was just bare with no padding. That was someone who was determined to not miss Daytona. :headbang:

I would have walked up to Charlie with some underpadding and some diamond turf and turned into his best friend in the world. :purr:

Busted steering and switch on my SJ and I'm still waiting on parts, my B1 is in pieces waiting for paint prep and I just finished glass work on my wife's B1 after f'n it up when I took it out last weekend.
The only ski left worth riding is her SJ and I'm not going to risk breaking her ski.

I just got back from riding!

First day out on the water. 60 degree water temp, all new parts on my motor, and a small tuning session netted me about a 3 hour ride today. The ski ran awesome too!

No waves.

Decided to work on ski "improvements" instead.

The best (and worst if you want to do ski mods) thing about Florida is not having a down period.

Actually a lot of the west coast florida guys consider summer to be their down time because we get all our waves during the winter except for Hurricane season.

I'm on the west coast (SWFL) and we never get waves even when hurricanes come by.
What we do get is some washing machine slop but it's better than a frozen over lake.
