Wife wants to ski...

My other half is looking for a ski to follow me around in the surf with. You guys got any recommendations? No emissions laws over here where I am posted so I was thinking Yamaha VX700s. Reliable 2 stroke. Easy to rebuild and may even take a bpipe and direct swap a DASA850 I have sitting around. 485lb couch. Not too much to deal with surf wise.

I thought blaster too but it has to be stable ish. I feel bad enough talking couches here. I am about 8 hours ahead of ET. Sure I will wake up to a forum raping tomorrow.

I was on a 310R today testing some stuff for work. Thing is huge. I managed to stuff somebody into the front storage compartment.

Don't do it man! It will sit in your garage forever, and she wont ride it. Then when you sell it, she will be mad that you sold it. Or at least, that's been my experience with multiple dirtbikes and jetskis ha ha ha. J/K dude, hopefully she will love the sport like we do.

My GF had no riding experience, but I let her try my SXR several times and she never really took to it. After getting knocked over by a few small waves that was it, we were back to the beach. I think getting used to the throttle control was difficult for her. I didn't want to buy a couch, so I decided to buy a blaster 1 and she really likes it and is comfortable taking it out for long rides. If yours is only going to ride in surf you might be better off starting her on some type of sit down machine that is more stable.

I don't know what it is about girls and blasters but they don't seem to have any issues with stability like guys do. I would say guys that try and ride it are 5/10 can/cant. And girls have been 9 out of 10 can ride it no problem.
