Will a RN cover fit a SN superjet

Just curious guys if you know whether a Cover for a RN will fit on a Square nose ski?

Here's a SN cover on a RN, the RN cover should actually be slightly longer and should work just as well.

Should work fine. I have a Slippery cover that fits both.

HHmmm, just remembered that ski has a lowered hood so there may be a little more fabric to play with...best way is to just test fit it.

Thanks guys, I will be trying a RN cover on a square. I know the hulls are the same so it should work. I am buying one here and it will not be returnable. Nice RN SJ with the RRP pole by the way, and is that a Canadian flag peeking out from under the cover? Looks nice.

Hate to resurrect this old thread but just wanted to save someone else from this mistake. Unable to locate a SN specific cover on eBay, and (following advice from this thread), I went ahead and purchased a RN cover going by the "should work fine" statement above.... Needless to say, NO! it did not work, was too short.

I would say it is an issue with the cover then, the hull dimensions are nearly identical. Sometimes aftermarket handlebars cause some fitment issue but if its too short, you may have the wrong cover.

Thanks for the heads up. I know the bottom deck is identical pre 08 but I think the nose on the SN might be a little longer. You might be correct though, so I will have to find someone near me with a RN cover to see if theirs fit my SN.. That would be great news as I could then return this brand new cover.

Like I stated above, I have a Slippery cover that was for a RN and have fit it on both hulls. How far off is it from fitting?

Fits around the nose but as I move back towards the tail it'll fit on one of the corners but impossible to pull over the other.. Maybe 3-4" short?

Send it back, don't tell them you put it on a different year ski and just say it didn't fit.

Yeah that's prob the best thing to do. So the Slippery cover you mention.. Is Slippery the brand?

Yes, I have no idea if they still make them however.

Cool, thanks..this cover seems to be tight around the handle bar area so I'll try and maybe turn the steering one way to see if that works any better. Maybe even consider shortening the bars an inch on each side, we'll see.
