Will it fit is it worth it?

Alright thank you

Owned a few super jets but never a brand new one.

I don't want to keep starting new threads so here is my next question.

That safety pisser that shoots water up in the air at the back of the tray. How do I get rid of it. Don't like getting a water enema. Also is isn't needed in Canada. Looked like it was hooked into the pump. And I could just pull out the line but then what do I do with the hole in the pump?

Mine didn't have a spray tube hose on the pump like my gp1200. It had an elbow mounted inside the steering nozzle.

What grips is everyone using with the stock handle bars? The stock ones are terrible. I want to run my lizard skin lock on grips but the are too long and there is not enough room to slide the kill switch over to get them to fit. I like the bar width and do not want to go the 1.25" wider on each side for a total of 2.5" wider to get these to fit.

Next question. On brand new skis and motors is it common for the bendix to stay engaged an extra second or two after the motor is running? Mine does and it makes noises that I do not like.

Used to run OURY grips on everyhting as well... Till i found out about ODI's. Didn't know OURY had lock on grips..

Yah just gonna make up some spacers and run my lizard skins grips. Used them today with only one lock on. The shorty style lock on grips are too narrow to fit even my little hand. The fire extinguisher holder is actually quite easy to get into on the water. Put a bottle of water in there and some mid lake snacks. :) The cover that came with the ski also worked very well to keep my seat dry with my wetsuit still on when I drove my truck to the boat launch to load my ski. lol

Next question. With using the lock on grips I'm going to move my throttle over and ditch the plastic spacer. How do I move it? Loosened the screw but it didn't want to move. Just left it as is because it was a nice day and didn't want to spend any more time tinkering. Every other ski I've owned had an aftermarket throttle from the start.
