FX-1 Winter time fx1 build(s)

While traveling during Christmas time, I picked up two fx1s that need rebuilding. The first one is 100% stock with a locked up motor. The second one is the fixed steer we have all seen on here.

The plan for the stock one is to turn it into my old fx1 that I miss dearly.. Lots of parts not sold anymore. It will be my surf ski and boat chaser. (and yes, you WILL see it flip with the stock 122 pump)
CF pole bracket and hood hook, steering, tank, all fittings they sell..lol
61x/61x groupK sleeper

prop and custom trim
xmetal footholds
cut pole with CF base or xmetal mid length

The plan for the fixed steer is to clean it up, make it work perfect, and let me buddy ride it. He has always wanted it.

Pretty much everything on it needs to be redone.

First thing was to get all the stickers off and tear them down.

Waiting for a warmer day to power wash them in and out. its 28 today..

So to get the fx1 going, I’m going to rob all my sn parts. Group k 61x, b pipe, steering, electrics, etc. Once I rebuild the locked up 701, I will put the sn back to stock.
Slowly gather other parts I need that the sn doesn’t have.

Put a heart in the pole ski.

Need to pick up my CF tank.

Took the first one out for a test ride.
Ran great! So fast and unstable
Spun the stock prop bad, so I’m looking for a swirl 19/24.

Cut the pole tonight and got my pole bracket on.

Pole is all done. We’ll see how long it last.. lol
Only shortened it 3.25” and the new CF turn plate is 1” shorter. (Got to keep the OEM warning sticker )

Haven’t touched these in awhile. The pole ski just needs the footholds and it will be done. I got some that I will modify to fit how I want.

Also I got my old limited chamber to fit with a CF sj tank. Just have to move the battery box over. No other modifications and the tank slid right in.
