World finals, deals and offers?! :)

Hi guys. Im going ti WF this year with my girlfriend, i Was wondering is there special offers and deals at finals, on parts and so?
How has is been the previous years?

Last year I saw some good deals on Hydroturf, Gaskets, Thrust had some specials and I bought several things from Blowsion. I'm sure there was more, but I was looking for specific parts for my build.

I've been trying to pay my CC down to make room for vendor alley this year. I buy almost everything over the web, so it's really nice to be able to see and inspect the parts before purchase, plus there's no shipping cost or wait.

Are they making hot deals on bigger parts like exhaust, short blocks ect? Sounds like i gotta save some more cash for WF

^ The DASA tent had price tags on their short blocks on display, not sure if they were discounted, maybe someone else can chime in?

Only deals on small parts, I had a cart tank come loose and punctured a hole in it, while riding. Had to pay almost double for one out there. T-shirts and life vests that's about the only deal.

Good point Jet fiend ! also in years past there were some exotic parts such as cylinders,carbs,and billet goodies from makers out of japan (bun) that were really cool .A few of these items were classified as unobtanium due to the price swing of converting dollars to yen , carbon goodies as well .One other cool detail is its a good time to meet and support in person, the makers /builders of a lot of the products you may running .lots of new and innovative ideas .also the newest products vendors are offering a lot of times make their debut at WF . For my short list, i would like to see a more cost effective larger 3 piece pump 148,-160 with a similar price point to the solas. i was able to see one last year ,but it has since remained a unicorn and have not heard of their production .as a rule of thumb most vendors will bend some on pricing or run a WF special , the more you spend the more they will bend so to speak ,but not always it also depends on the item, the vendor ,so on and so forth.if that makes sense at all ?

You can find deals if you get there early in the week, especially from the clothing and gear vendors who are trying to clear the inventory at the end of the year. Hydroturf sheets are pretty cheap too along with some other gems you can find.

I'd also keep checking the for sale section of the site. Many people bring skis and other parts to sell. Last year I sold a few parts for a pretty good deal. This year my buddy is selling his carbon hurricane along with some other stuff and I'm sure other members will have skis for sale too.. Most of the companies like Jet Lift, Rickter, Dasa, Hydro Turf ect are always out there making deals. Many of the vendors let the public know about the deals a few weeks before finals, that way you can prepare and make a shopping list.

I got some cash only deals last year, cold fusion midshaft and couplers, rhaas motor mounts, and a aura steering setup.

There are some good deals there,Hydroturf is always priced right there and you can special order too. WF is where I met Jetmaniac, I was very impressed with him then and he has remained solid for years!

the best deal are from the racer themselves if you go thru the pits lots of racers have stuff that they are selling I picked up a lot of bargains there, some will have signs up and parts out to check out

I scored a bunch of Hydroturf for a really good price on the last couple days, and some Blowsion parts/clothing. I wasn't really looking for anything big, just some small projects but the deals are there.

I hadn't heard about the pits though, I will probably purchase a pit pass this year and see what I can find!
