It was rough for the AM freestyle on Friday. It was much less windy on Sunday when the Pros competed. Some of the Pro finals I started uploading this morning are available. They start with 20111009. There were some pretty awesome moves and great combos that day. More will show up today as they are processed. You can tell when they are all there when the X2 racing video shows up. I was bored waiting for the Pros freestyle and shot video of those crazy X2 riders. I usually don't video racing.

Major props to my boy Pardaddy, he had a great clean run and shoulda scored higher IMO.

Also, Whoever the Russion was on the black and red boat (not the Rickter)vid#20111009131154
was throughing some incredible combos, flawlessly! The Jap did too but this dude landed them all clean and the routine was as seemless as an areal run can be.
Also , anyone know what hull he was on?

I do this to promote the sport and help my peeps see the action. It's a limited market. I don't see a point in burning DVDs then stuffing them in the mail and making like $3/hour.

Something people could do to help is to pimp the videos on FB, Twitter, etc. I do like to see lots of hits on the vids. Feel free to share the links to the videos of both years of Grayland open, Surfslam and World finals (WF this year not added yet, thanks for the reminder) near the bottom of my website's home page. Show your non-PWC friends what the heck we are so pumped about!

Someone asked about video of the crowd. This year I did remember to get "background" video of the crowd. the pits. the flyover, the entering Lake Havasu City sign, driving across London bridge, the go-go dancers at Kokomos, etc. I will be doing some editing after a while and making a pretty cool clip that catches the flavor of the event.

Even if you are just into surf riding this is a cool event with all the vendors selling the toys. It's worth the couple hundred to go there.

One more thing you guys could do is watch the vids, listen to hear who it is, match the number titles to names so I can title the vids. My azz was dragging at work today after last weekend. I could use the help.

I cannot believe no one else was curious about this Ivan dude on the crazy bad azz looking hull in the vid I referenced above. HOW COULD YOU NOT BE!!!!

EME News Release, 2011 World Finals.

There has been confusion concerning EME rider, Lee Stone, and his choice to not ride in Sundays World Finals competition.

Eric's Comments Follow,

I prepared for Havasu this year as I have for the past 15 years.
I built for Lee Stone an Aerial 8 ski with a 1200cc engine/pump combo that I tested and knew to exceed all others.

Lee made the decision (Contrary to my judgment) at Havasu on the Wednesday prior to competition to switch to a larger pump, once the pros and cons were discussed. Secondary to the altering of the product I knew to work, there were sleepless nights of experimenting and modifications to try to make the new setup work during the days, hours, and minutes before competing on Saturday.

After the competition on Saturday, the decision was made to switch back to the original setup that EME had brought to Havasu.

Lee made his own decision to not ride in Sunday's competition secondary to not enough time on the ski.
EME and Eric Malone did not make the decision to not participate in the competition.

We need to get Matt to go to the WF to keep everything going smoothly. :smile: It costs a few bucks but is a great time and well worth it. Where else can you try all the aftermarket hulls?

egos and smegos!!!!! Whatcha gonna do?

I would look for a new EME sponsored rider for 12 and a new ride under sky high Lee too.
Just a prediction, was a good combo while it lasted fo sho.
