World Finals Questions (Noob)

So I'm totally new to jet ski racing. Have been racing motocross/desert all my life but it's been too hot in Southern California for any of that nonsense, so a friend and I have decided to give this a try. I have a stock SXR and he has a new stock Super Jet that we rip around Big River almost every weekend. Our end goal is to race World Finals this year. We raced the WORCS series race in Havasu on dirtbikes the last two years and thought it would be a good idea to try and accomplish WF as well in the same year. I read the rules for the most part and I though it said I would have to qualify to get to race since it's invite only... That is fine I understand since it's 'world finals' but is this completely true? We plan on running our first race at the Jet Tribe race in Elsinore the weekend after the 4th of July to get our feet wet in the sport. Depending on how that goes what else would we need to do to race the "C" Stock class at WF? Just looking for some guidance, no smartassss answers needed!

If you go to one ijsba sanctioned local race you can enter classes at world finals.

If i were you i would spend some time setting up your ski for finals. People dont mess around there and are pretty competitive, that said, dont overdo it and miss the whole point of jetskiing in the first place, which is to HAVE FUN.

Go to the local race, get a feel for it, train hard, and enter a class like novice stock or amateur lites, and you will have a good time.
