worst purchase ever LTD aaa pole

I was even more dumb! I bought one and then paid an extra $70 to powder coat it! Mine broke on the weld. No expert but I think the weld was just a bit to cold and didn't 'penetrate' the Aluminium. It is also bending on the tongue but not as severely as FrankV510's. Putting on an aura pole from Tigercraft. More on that pole when I get it onimage.jpg

I am currently looking for another pole and was hoping to get some input.
I am wondering if there are any adjustable poles out there that have issues with cracks, bends , or just bad quality.
What do you guys recommend?
Thanks

Xmetal makes a -2 to -5 adjustable pole. My wife's new sxr has the non adjustable version and it seems pretty solid. I don't have extensive history with xmetal, but the guys ride local and see pretty down to earth, and I don't think anyone would contest that they abuse the stuff they build.

Heven't ridden an X-metal adjustable but have two riding partners that do and they both are quite happy. They both punish their poles pretty hard. Is also a 'economical' deal in that you get bracket, breathers etc with the pole. If I was at square one, I'd be looking very closely at getting one. I just got a discount on the Aura pole buying it with my hull that I couldn't pass up.
