The down side of a KTM is the engine is a little more noisey than a japanese bike. The power ,brakes and suspension are great along with the ease of adjusting the valves.

So the only bad thing is the noise ?
That's the only thing I don't like about mine.I own the 520 MXC.It's great for Single track ,Desert with a gear box that is set up to run faster on top than japanese motocross bikes. With the bike idling in nuetral when you pull in the clutch the noise decreases.Clutch design.

Interesting I have a buddy that just bought one and he also ordered a track kit for it suppose to be a bad setup. It will be the first bike here with a track conversion on it.

Thanks for the info, I will call the DMV and see what info I can get. I don't know if I can pass up the 0 Down, 0 Interest Yamaha deal. I can have it payed off in a years time easily.

How often to these promotions come around? I never payed attention before.

Thanks again

I found a New 2008 (same as 2009, except for BNG) for $5780 OTD.... Plus the $200 delivery to Austin, I can't pull the trigger. The cheapest I have found locally is $6500 OTD for the 2009 model, I would rather save $500 on the '08 since they are exactly the same.

If I wasn't looking to build or buy a house next year I would already have it. Wheres my trust fund?

Yep, he I called yesterday evening and the '08 is gone, he told me he would work the same deal on the only 2009 they have left. I am buying it when they open...

Am I mistaken or is this a great price?

Last time I went to the dealer it was to look at the WRR, but the WRF msrp is 6700...so I'd say $5780 is a really good price.

Yeah, soooooooooooo now I am required to take a 3 day "Motorcycle Training Course" to get a motorcylce endorsement. Its 5 hours a day and only $200.00 for the class, what a bargain (thats sarcasm).

This went into effect on Sept. 1st of this year. I thought I was going to get me and the bike all legal for $400.00 but now I need this garbage too.:shooter3:

We have that option here but also have the option to take the riding test straight out. LOL I rode around with a learners permit for 2 years before I got my license/endorsement.

I test rode the WR250X supermoto last week. (They were assembling the WRR while I was there). The X is the perfect height/size for me. I would never buy a "street" wheeled bike, but it felt perfect.

Also had to take a 3day class for the endorsment here ($350).
