wr3 build

got quite a bit done recently. prime and prep was pretty easy, but i am a better sander than painter. i am sure alot of it has to do with technique, but the total boat topside isnt the easiest paint to use. takes quite a bit of pressure (and 20% reduction/thinning) to spray it. in the end i had some orange peel that sanded out pretty easily.

lighting sucks, but you get the idea

and on to the graphics. amr racing "carbon x" kit in gray. great kit with thick graphics. due to the thickness i really had to work some of the compound corners, but a little heat took care of those areas

the kit came with panels for the rear and sides but i am not going to use them. prefer to have the rear just black and white.

turf is next

finally finished up the couch build. as a reminder, here is what i started with. wasn't anything wrong with it, just needed some updating to get rid of the 90s paint/graphics and them some parts were thrown at it for good measure

and the result
