They claim it's easy. And doesn't damage the finish underneith.
Mine had old white paint on it that was in about 6.5 condition, so even if it did get wrecked, I don't care.
Then again, I think I'd sell it before I pulled the wrap off.

A buddie of mine up here does wraps on all kinds of stuff. Pretty friggin amazing what can be done. And how cool they turn out. He wants to wrap one of mine, but I ride-em-like-I-stole-em, so I am one coloring and stickering.

Seats... That thing is friggin phenomenal looking. Looking forward to see more pix.

i bought this thing back in 06 when i was getting back into skis again.
i thought it was cool.
i had some great times on it.i keep it for others to ride that cannot ride standups ,but want to learn.

it's a learning tool to bring more people into the sport.
i know it's looked down upon but wait till you see it tonight!:highhorse:
i started wrapping it last night.
i plan on pulling the motor and electronics and putting it in a watercraft factory hull next year.
the fuel injection on that motor is unbelievable and so much snap.
the seat has been removed, battery box relocated and a swirl prop and a surf bar to hold the back of your feet when being vert.
it's great for just hitting the surf when its tooo choppy for the sj's.

i ride like jimmy visser!:barrel:

dont they make 2 types of adhesive for this stuff? one that is removeable and one that is permanent?
Ken, id like to see those pics that Joel got in Daytona! Ski has really good power as well as the shiny finish!

adhesive

yes there are quite a few diffrent types , and manufactures.

they all come right back off with no adhesive left on the parts that were covered , not like plain vinyl.

cant run the rapid air vinyl on the waterline because water could get under the film.though its better to use on curves.
zimmy you did a helluva job on your sj:Banane09:

Joel hasn't sent me the pics yet. So, I haven't seen them.
When you talk to him, let me know what you find out.

is this very hard to do if I order one for an SJ and Blaster. Like do you send with instructions and tips or just the wrap and say good luck =p

It's doable. But at least you have to have two people to do it. You have to start from center and slowly go around. And heat gun. Heat is your friend. I would sugest to wrap something small first just to get fill for it. And if you did somthing wrong - you can always just peel it off and do it again. And if you call Phill , he will explain everything.
