Just bought a wsm midshaft housing, do I need to fill it with grease and how much?

Too much grease never hurt anyone lol. That's the way I see it
Will it push the seals out?
Yes, you need to manually grease the housing before installing the midshaft. Unfortunately, I think WSM housings are shipped assembled with grease seals already installed. You get much better results filling the voids in the grease seals, etc. before assembling.
Take your finger and push grease inside and fill every void you can find from the front and back. You can manually overgrease it. Also you need to install an oem fitting and grease hose or cap off the hole in the side of the housing as well.
When adding grease through the grease hose after assembly, it is very easy to damage the housing by over greasing. Add grease manually before assembly is best.
