If you are looking for one for the power gains I’d recommend just using a dried out stock pipe, you might not be impressed with what the price of these rare pipes nets you in terms of power...
There’s a reason they were never the must have item when triple stand ups were the dominant race machines

Now, if you’re looking for one to build a clean ass engine compartment that looks blingy as hell, then yes get one

I was going to go the Kaw 1100 Coffman route as well for my sxr. If the Coffman pipes were that great the racers would of used them. My dried out oem sounds and works GREAT!

its a proven fact that all the performance gains from the Coffman 1100 pipe on the sitdown, were had from the Coffman waterbox, not the pipe itself.
that means either the waterbox was more or less restrictive than stock. I don't know which.
I've had and sold a few of them and they are rare and now expensive.
