WTHFS happened to this type 4

cant believe by eyes. my silicone tore yesterday and today i remove the pipe and something is missing. the o ring and the piece are nowhere to be found i checked inside the water box, not there. in the last pic, is there suposed to be an o ring in both locations or just #1?

well thats good to know. i'm gonna have my buddy weld a new flange on tomorrow and go from there. but still WTF.

i only have the 1 o ring in both my type 4's and they are two different styles.. whats with the missing steal piece? melted of broken? did you have a backfire in the pipe? maybe thats what blew the cupler and broke the piece

no back fire just a 10 year old pipe. the piece broke off no melting at all.

that sucks bro but ten years is time served! besides you should be able to pic up another pipe cheap, dry pipes suck anyway lol! :shhh: ive seem onw pop up on fleebay a few times here and there, just watch how its from if you know what i mean :twak: good luck man

1 o-ring on the FPP Dry Pipes and Riva Freeride Pipes. The speedwerx uses the exact same manifold exept it uses 2 o-rings.

Manifold is not the exact same, only the runners.

your correct, the coupler section is different to accomidate the dual o-ring setup.

Believe the diameter is different also.

Yep, they weld their own section onto the factory manifold.
