650/X-2 X-2 Build 800cc

Well got a few parts on order to build a sweet x2. I picked up a pretty clean ski with a few nice bolt ons and using it as a starting point. The hull is clean with no cracks, seat cover not all torn up, has a full westcoast pipe with the good westcoast manifold, a stainless after market prop pitch unknown, and a aftermarket intake grate, and a milled head. Plan is a pjs viper 9000 800cc dual carb powerplant, modding the 650 pump and possibly replacing the prop depending on the pitch, some of the bearings sound crappy so i will prob rebuild the midshaft bearing and pump, westcoast water box, renthal 110 cc playbike handle bars, and either UMI or Acusteer steering, new turf, new seat cover, and BNGs!! I am going to go home and start taking things apart tonight, and will post pictures of it as it sits now and during the rebuild process. Hope you guys enjoy my build!!

Here is some progress. Got the hull stripped down and cleaned. Painted the exhaust header and chamber. And did my first part of reassembly, a westcoast waterbox. Hope you guys enjoy.

Well got the ski all torn down today, prop was a like new skat trak 13/16. Any one know how that pitch will do with the 800cc engine?

might be strong puller with it. i am now running a 10-16 hooker in mine on hte 62t and it is pulling strong and still fast up top

I take it when you change the factory thumb throttle to a finger throttle you have to get a 650 sx cable?

why? with my x2 all i bought was a finger throttle

Got all my bypass and bilge fittings ordered. Placed my order for my BNGs!! Now all im waiting for is some brown santa packages, and figure out what finger throttle to use.

Go to a bicycle shop and grab a brake lever. 10 bucks for the same thing you will pay a lot more for.

Im waiting for more parts to come in as i type this. I got my bars in, gaskets to reassemble, dual cooling fittings, bilge pump... Waiting for a box from blowsion, hydro turf, and LG1 graphics.
