650/X-2 X-2 Build 800cc

Water tested the ski today. Tuned and tweaked all day and finally got it semi close. I still have some tuning to do on the bottom. I may have to go down a jet size in the main because I'm only like 3/4 turn out on the high screw, and less than one full turn out on the low screw as well, but I'm gonna wait til the next tank when it has 93 in it and the proper oil mixture. I mixed it rich and I was running a race fuel I had left over from my Dirtbikes. I am definately going to change the prop. It's fast as my buddies sj with a b pipe and a head on top, but the prop seems to tall down low. I think I'm gonna try one of those 9/17 hookers you guys are talking about. But overall, a solid performance for the maiden voyage.

Well guys, im done with my build besides tuning and a prop change, and little things down the road. here are some finished pics!! I had to put my old MX number on because since my neck injury, i can never ride a dirtbike again, just carrying on a tradition, it was not built to race.

My UMI steering, 15.5 prop, and #zero flywheel all came in!! Installing this weekend... #zero did a wicked job on the flywheel, the stock pjs wheel was HEAVEYYYY!!! Should have more of a hit now! Any way to modify the stock nozzle for a little more throw with the umi?

I was wondering about your build the other day, could you do a quick steer mod like on the yami nozzles? Move the cable hookup closer to the nozzle

Im working with paul lehr on the motor tune and set up and thats what we are gonna try with the stock pump... the old prop was way to tall and had no pull. Guy i bought the prop from had it in a modded x2 with a 750 and a pipe and he said it ripped as well.

I had the turn mod done on my stock sj turn nozzle, but i havent looked into this one yet... I will let you guys know how the set up does.
