I don't think it takes alot of power to ride surf. just a solid boat with decent power. Next year by Daytona it will be rolling and most likely flipping. I think I have the hull worked out, now it's the motor dept.

I am leaning towards a spark issue, Be it spark ark, Bad coil,etc. The rear plug was wet, Where as front was dry. Just got back from lunch with a very smart/wealthy Mechanical Engineer, and we went over the fuel system/ Carb cut-away. It would be hard to replicate this problem Via fuel system, Hopefully I am getting somewhere. Luckily I still have my whole engine and electrical from last motor, Minus a rod and part of the block:biggrin:

O.K. I think I may have found the culprit or maybe part of it,The motor and electronics are out of a 650sx, So I kept it as one and just strapped the box where the oil tank went (on the tank) I made a make-shift wiring diagram of the electronics, So don't laugh:biggrin:
What I noticed is that the Coil & V. Regulator are grounded to the electrical box. The box however is not grounded to anything, My question is how was the motor able to run:dunno:

it was probably grounded by the ground from the stator harness. its always a good idea to bond everything with a secondary ground to ensure groundation (nice verbage, eh?)

Kinda what I was thinking, So I broke out the volt meter and sure enough the only way that ground got from the motor to the box was the Black wire. I am going to ground the box to the battery, and the battery to the block.:banghead: Only thing that sux is I do stupid moves like this when I get mad and my motor doesn't worky.
