No, we had an offer last month that was very nice, but we turned it down. The offer is still on the table though based on their last contact.
It would probably be a positive for the site if we did though.

Nah, they are not a jetski related company, and they just want to grow the site and make some money in the process.

I donated a couple of times and never got a thank you email. would have been nice, i haven't donated again.
Actually, now that the ebay ads are paying off, the site supporters will hopefully be getting something as a way of saying thanks.
And yes, what you said is exactly why we didn't sell. We never made money off this place and won't. We didn't start the site to make money, just as a place for standup riders to post. It's turned into a drama-fest though over the years which takes the fun out of running it sometimes, but most of the time it's still cool because it gets people out and riding together.

Another forum I frequent was purchased by a company called Internet Brands and the forum has gone done hill. Its loaded with crap ads all over the forums now. Thank god for adblockers because its terrible over there. So I am glad to see that you guys are not selling and its good to here that those in charge are getting some kind of compensation for it.

We do not make money on the site, all money stays in the Paypal account and will go toward t-shirts, b-pipes, etc for whatever. We have over $400 in the account right now and are paid up through June on hosting.
