Super Jet X-metal bracket w/ stock RN pole - have some questions...

Received the X-metal bracket for my wife's RN today. Got it installed tonight and went to put the stock (well shortened) RN pole on and it's hitting the stops on the bracket pretty bad. With some grinding on the pole I can actually attach the bolts now but no way the pole can even move without lots more grinding.

Does it take that much to get it to work or did I not get the one for a stock pole. I have an e-mail into X-Metal but with it being late Friday night and the weekend ahead I was seeing if maybe somebody around here knows.

I had to grind my stops quite a bit when I put my stock pole on a X metal bracket.

that much work, that... go 615 stainless steel, lowered bracket next time.... zero problems other than the pole needs to be mounted before the bracket because the pole bolt is low in the mounting spot so the hull will not allow the pole bolt to go threw or come out without hitting the sides. its well worth it to have it low thou.

thats crazy stupid that you have to adjust, grind, do anything to something so simple as a pole mount. i would return it.
