Super Jet x metal pole question

i have a 1990 sn superjet and I broke the stock handlepole. I'm looking at an X metal pole, I'm wondering if I will also need to buy the adjustable steering system or will the stock sn steering work?

Stock steering will not work without modifying the pole. Also, the pole will not fit the stock bracket.

The xmetal pole comes with the pole bracket. You will have to mount it.
I would go ahead and get the adjustable steering. Even if the sn steering worked the cable will not. The adjustable steering will help with that. Ask me how I know?
