X-Metal pole....steering options?

Cold-Fusion is out of the equation....OEM bushings don't fit on this pole.
Is there one that fit? What are you running?
Are there other option for the X-Metal pole that don't use bearings?

Benny,l run a cf steering with my x metal pole.Either have a machine shop drill it out or if you know someone you can trust do the job.Have them drill it a little snug.

I drilled out holes for a Blowsion bearing system and mounted the ADA plate onto that. It's stayed put great.

Thanks for the responses.
So I guess at one point Xmetal did offer a bushing style steering system.

I can't find this steering system on their website anymore.
I wonder what happened.....not much demand? Issues?

Nope, exchanged a few txts with one of the guys over at FreestyleFactory and it has been discontinued.
They have also updated their website:
"Unfortunately the product "Xscream Xmetal, Shorty Steering System Bushing Kit" has been discontinued"


Sorry, but I am adamant. I guess drilling is next......ha ha!

The poles now come pre drilled for the UMI type bearing setup.

I have been using CF with OEM bushings and I love it.

I have the ATP mini steering on my XM pole. Not only did I have to open the hole up, but I had to notch the steering stop/ chin pad brace.

I like their pole, but IMO they make it damn difficult to run anyone elses steering.

I just don't like the fact that a stock pole bracket wont hold the pole up..
