Is Pat still on vacation from work .I tried calling him several times for a waterbox and front exhaust kit but no return call .I also tried ordering through his website but it gave me a total for shipping of $1000 so I didn't place the order obviously.

I called 3 times already and left a message and I really don't want any other waterbox but if he won't return calls than I'll have no choice but to call another dealer .

Who else stocks these parts from X metal .that would be a great help :biggthumpup:

(ikstej) I was at his shop for most of the day friday and he's got a lot going on at the moment, twelve employees and me hounding him to get a pipe welded up for a water injecton nozzle! Just try back as I did see more resonators just made sitting on the shipping table.

I'm not going out of my way to get a louder box .I need a new waterbox and I like Pat's design.You said you wanted something louder specifically .That is not my intention to get something specifically because it is louder.I happen to like all of XMW stuff the waterbox included .
So now just because I said intentionally going out of your way to make your ski louder is gay means I can't buy an Xmetal box if I want .I should stick to the stocker just because I don't like loud ski's ???
I only ride in the ocean so it's not much of a concern for me if it's louder but obviously the louder they get the more complaints you get and the more lakes and ponds you get banned from .

The bottom line is I thought it was silly to ask for a waterbox based on how loud it is and that is certainly not the case here .I like the quality of Pat's stuff and looked there first .:biggthumpup:

Either way, be prepared for a loud ass ski. I'm not speaking to your situation in particular, but this jet ski "cult of personality" is an interesting phenomenon to watch. All day long in the vintage section of this and the other forum, new guys ask if they should buy an aftermarket waterbox. The standard(and correct) answer is that it'll be louder, but minimally more powerful. The very same guys that say that are now talking up the Xmetal waterbox. The weight savings is negligible and the noise level is much greater. I'm not bagging on Pat because he really is a nice guy with awesome products, but if almost anyone else made this part they would be ridiculed for it. Just my opinion.:biggthumpupbut I am correct:smile: )

My stock aluminum one cracked and my friend Pete is trying to have it welded as a spare .He gave me a stock square one which had a mice colony living in it and weeks later baby mice corpses are shooting out of it still so I'm getting a new one and looked there first .
It says a little louder than stock on his site not A LOUD ASS SKI.

For the most part I hate loud at a lake where your driving by someones house all day but in my particular case I ride in the ocean and it gets lost out there .
I still hate loud don't get me wrong .Wouldnt want a guy on a harley driving back and forth in front of my house all day and it would be the same thing with a loud ski on a lake in front of someones house all day .
