Super Jet x scream adjustable pole on a sn

is it possible to put this pole (http://www.xmetalworks.com/products/new+billet+adjustable+handlepole+(yamaha)/39) on a sn using the bracket supplied with it from xmetalworks?? what modifications would need to be done to make it work if its possible?

The only problem i see with doing that is the position of the bumpstops on the xmetal bracket. since the rn bracket is angled forward more than the sn it allows more upward travel. The only thing i could see you needing to do is grinding down the stops a bit and/or run a limiter strap

I have one on mine when it was in the stock location I had to move the hood hooks and I ended up making a 3/4" spacer out of starboard to go under the bracket because it sat too low in the hood, just looked odd with the pole down. I will say running a tight pole that area flexed A LOT nothing ever broke but man it moved.

its possible, would suggest base and backing plate, can be set up 2 breathertubes or as pictured, single pole bolt, oem hood hooks and last but not least kawasaki 750 SX aftermarket spring...makes that pole stand up with ease....

No wedge just a flat piece 3/4" starboard it was the whole width of the bracket area and mounted the hood hooks on top. Sorry I didn't take any pics.

I dont have any pics the way it was set up I have since moved the pole forward 4". I used the bracket that came with the pole.

for the backing plate did u just cut a sheet off aluminum or did u by it from somewhere? is there anywhere that sales backing plates?
