Move the pull point back so it isn't pulling at a falling rate of leverage. Leverage goes up until it get to the top then it falls.

I wonder if a "click shift" handlebar grip control would work for the trim control also, or is there not enough cable movement with this system? In other words, like a twist grip throttle, or like the old 5 or 6 speed bikes, where there is a slight "lock" into place to hold your gear/tilt setting. Hmmm

i hope this is as easy as it sounds...no mods under the ski right? only on the stock trim selector and a bike lever off of the handle bars right?

Ya there should be a spring by the nozzle

True but most people run them. The pressure of the jet will return the nozzle back down.
