All I've been doing the past two to three weeks on every ride is trying rolls. I've probably thrown a couple hundred or more in the past couple weeks of riding. Of which, I've ridden out of maybe 50, and actually made it plate to plate on about 5-10. So the right side of my ski has taken a POUNDING. I just don't have big enough waves to get around on most of the time, so it just gets bashed.
Thankfully I reinforced it pretty well when I built the ski, so it's held up until recently. We had a couple days of barges, and I spent two days at Kentucky Dam, and down into Tenessee on KY lake where there is a TON of cruiser traffic. I got WAY more air in my rolls, so I landed a lot harder, and put some nice crackes down the right side. Also completely shattered the latch area of my hood. The cracks go down to just where I started the reinforcing, directly under the lip. Theres also a long one going down the back corner, which is where my reinforcing stopped. Live and learn. It's coming apart right now to get some extra reinforcing before the weekend.
