I think your knees are your only concern. My next X2 project is going to have a cut stern, and the rubber guys are gone then. I may have two layers of "B" turf.
The two back corner rubbers are of no concern, really.
I know my back two rubber pieces on the rails are becoming a pain in the ass. They do nothing but spray water at my ankles and legs. Probably gonna take them off and see how it goes. Won't be doing any major turf projects on my current ski, but my 95 is going under the saw and getting some glass over the summer and into the winter...
I kept the nose peice on one of my x2s and turfed the rails alll the way up and tucked under the nose piece so they don't peel in front. Also cut the edge of the turf where it stops on the edge of the rail at a 45 degree angle so it doesn't peel either
