x2 runs but good.

Had the x2 out today, starts fine, after about thirty seconds it will not rev when you open it up, it is just flat no power.......... leave it a few minutes and it is fine again for thirty seconds, any suggestions

Sounds like either an exhaust leak or carb rebuild time.Crank it up with the hood on ,rev it a few times and pull the hood off and see if there is any smoke inside,if not pull the carb apart and check the filter behind the needle and seat assy.

rev it with the hood off but in the water if possible, against a dock or something. I've had one of the water chambers crack and shoot mist in the engine compartment. It would only exhibit the problem in water

Same prob i had with my 650 SX. Exhaust leak was my prob too!
