yeah, i use XFT freestyke bars on my skis, i don't think that they are really wider than UMI's but they are thicker for sure. Me and one of my buds usually kill a set of UMI freestyle bars in about 2 seasons, currently i have 2 seasons on my XFT bars and they are still holding with no signs of a problem..I have just about everything XFT produces and for the most part their stuff is well thought out quality pieces..

Could you measure how wide those bars are. I heard that they were a little wider than the UMI.

Plus it shortens the pole system more, and brings the steering rotation closer to the axis.

Nothing wrong with good looking parts, I do when I can. I'm just saying buying another brand specifically because everyone else has the other is....odd.

UMI and XFT bars look the exact same minus the cross bar bad and you can get them in other colors.

Or, you can buy some thickwall alum tubing and mod/shorten the stock turnplate to accept the straight bars. :djsmilie:
