Finally, I'm building a boat for myself :eek5: Picked up an XFT hull from Kaveman a few weeks back and have been putting parts together for it. We're going to see if we can have this thing built in one week, plan on putting it in the water on Saturday. Hull, hood and nose piece weighs 105 lbs, going with a stock 760 with Yamaha pistons (good parts come in a box with Yamaha on it), Power Bomb carbs, V-force 3 reeds, Riva reed spacer, Riva intake, ADA head, Advent ignition, TBM flywheel, and one of my port jobs. It was already Carbon Kevlar on the inside but I figured one more layer wouldn't hurt, plus it made it look nicer. The bottom has be totally re-worked and has new gel coat. Ordered all new motor mounts, Kenney Keepers, new stator, new bendix (you get the idea) Just waiting on the final Riva order (fuel tank, sleeves, intake grate, pump rebuild kit) I was going to build a pole for it but then I remembered Larry left his X-metal at my shop, so it's getting that. New Blowsion steering with taper bars, Blowsion J/K hood and nose piece, internal fuel fill, etc. etc. Got it primed last night, paint goes on tonight, depending on parts I should meet my deadline.
