XFT Hull info?

I ran into some car issues mid winter rebuild, and I'm entertaining the idea of parting out one of my skis to put towards a truck. I've also always wanted to get some info on what I've got as I bought these skis knowing next to nothing about them. I've got what I assume to be an XFT hull, and I haven't been able to find much info on them other than they make at least two hulls; the fly x and the free x. Haven't been able to really figure out the difference between the two, and in turn which one I've got. The seller told me it was kevlar reinforced for the surf, and it was also advertised as having a blowsion carbon hood.

It's also possibly for sale, depending on its value vs what I paid for the two skis and trailer. If it isn't worth much, I'll rebuild the motor and throw it all back together for next year. And then go sign the next 6 years of my life away on a truck

Yes it definitely has a Blowsion JK hood. Not sure if it is a carbon one or not. It may be an early XFT SJ clone. The hood seal area isn't rasied on the inside to lean toward a XFT hull. But that Fire wall is definitely XFT with those dual pump dump scuppers. Need to see pics of the back of the bottom deck. Sergio would sell you what ever parts you wanted so if you wanted the firewall and scupper tunnels he would sell them. So if someone did a top deck conversion you could buy just what you needed. It isn't a Fly X or Free X.

What ever hull it is this one looks good.

I have a Xft carbon hull built in 06, it weighs in at 65lbs bare, the intake area looks the same as yours, scuppers, pump shoe, and through hulls all look the same, is it painted? It might be visual carbon under there, paid $6500 for it back then, if I would ever sell, which I never would, I wouldn't take less than $3000 for it, hope that helps you

I know there are different types of xft hulls and I'm not too familiar with them.
from what I know the fly x hulls are like 50-60 lbs and whatever the other SJ looking models are around 100ish?

Gary burtka just posted 2 for sale. One that looks like yours for $1500 and a fly x for $5400.

These pictures scream topdeck conversion, to me. Pictures inside the nose, and under the front bumper might confirm. It just seems to me that the motor mounts, battery tray mounts, and tank/water box mounts look just like a SN. The weight makes sense, too.

Look at the angle of the bottom deck in that picture from the rear, I say full XFT hull.

I'm with snow on this one ... Of course I could be wrong . If you Sand an edge of the motor mount You could find out real quick.
