Xft hull with gp 1200 mechanics

Hello

I live in Brazil and i just bought a xft hull based on a square nose super jet, im thinking about putting a gp 1200 mechanics that i have on it.

What do you guys think about it? Will it be good to freestyle and freeride or just for racing?

The GP1200 engine will be good for racing, as Big Kahuna said, too heavy for freestyle.

I just got a 64X cylinder bored to 89mm, running +1mm Seadoo 951 Pistons in it. Stock stroke is about 850cc. MSD, twin 46's, Nynja pipe. Not quite ready yet, so I can't tell you how it goes.

Its a waste of time and money. Most are built and then sold...... because the rider realizes it was not as cool as he thought it would be. You might find a hand full of guys who love them but its not a majority. They are heavy, handle like crap, and........oh........ i hope you like to wrench. Top level racers easily have 15k invested. You are better off building that 701.

A 62T cylinder can be bored out to take big sleeves, like this one.

Then you don't have the weight of a 65U, or the expense of a DASA. I bought the cylinder for $70, the sleeves were $139 each. Then the machining and port work, I must admit, not my work, got a buddy to do it. Also need my buddy to set up cylinder in the cases to get the port timing right, and get the squish right on the ADA super bore head.

I'm not going to race as pro level just to mess around here in Brazil ski category is not good on national championship we just have like 2 guys racing one is a 15 year old guy called Davi Prado and other one is an old guy that put a 1100 cc engine on a sxr hull but the motor is original

Here in Brazil we don't have good mechanics like in US I prefer to buy thing original or do by my self because or mechanics are way too expansive and don't know a lot they just think it is correct this 62t cilinder that you said you paid 70 dollars here in Brazil they ask 600 dolars

If I buy part from US the customs taxes are 100 percent so if I pay 300 dollars in a part it will cost 300 + 50 shipping +350 taxes of the part and shipping so the part is going to cost 700 dollars here in Brazil
