Has anyone ordered a xft hull and recieved it? If so how long did it take and how was it shipped. I'm not trying to start any drama, but I ordered one in Dec. and was told 4 to 6 weeks and since then have been told many times it will be shipped this week and it hasn't for over a month :bs2: . Just wondering if anyone else got thiers and how long. Has anyone else delt with XFT, can I trust them? they now have $6000 of mine and I keep getting the run around. Thanks for any input

did you order it from sergio, or through someone in the U.S.?i just ordered some parts(steering plate and bracket) yesterday and was told 3-4 days on shipping w/ a poss 3 day delay on parts getting shipped.so they should be here by the end of next week. ill let you know.

was the 6 G's just for the hull,or is there more to it?

PM SXr-lou I know he went through hell getting his hull it took forever.

I would keep my money in the United States for the hull. IMO This guy could just close up and there isn't a thing you could do about it. We found that out in dealing with a company in Canada and that was only 80 grand down the tube.

I ordered my hull through Chuck also. You're gonna be fine and will get your hull. Mine took longer than expected and so did Lou's. No different than any of the other hull/motor builders here and quite a bit better than some of the more popular ones. The quality is excellent and I believe you'll be very happy with it. Rest assured, Chuck is doing all he can and is just as frustrated as you.

Sergio is definitely the real deal. I think there might be slightly better communication when dealing with him directly, but Chuck at CG racing has pretty frequent communication with him. For my top deck, Sergio said 60 days, and on day 60, it showed up at the receiving dock.

i know chuck has been pretty frustrated with sergio, just as you guys have- things have been arriving way late. I had some difficulties on some parts too..hopefully Xft can turn things back around- as they make some amazing parts

Lou just posted in his thread that he ordered it in october and received it in may so that is 6 months... Every thrashed Jeff at WDK for taking a year on a hull adn they knew it would take a while... If I got a estimate of 6 to 8 weeks and when it rolled around to 15 or 20 weeks I would be PO'd

I have cancled orders for being 2 weeks late.

i've never done this before because i think its kind of lame, but here goes

btw i was strongly considering xft before i bought my wdk hull but after much contemplation i decided to #1 support the innovative direction that wdk is taking the industry and #2 spend my hard earned money on an american made product.also i aint gonna lie,the 66e compatability was a huge turnon also:biggrin:

I don't want anyone to think Chuck is pulling anything here, he seems like a great guy and I'm sure he runs a honest busness, I would not have sent him the money if I did'nt trust him and I realize that this is out of his hands. I just wanted to get input from other xft customers and see if the delays in getting the product is the norm

SERGIO IS THE MAN!!! my parts took a little while, thats why you order well before you want the product at your house. Also, i bought a pole from him a year ago and i noticed that a 2" section was a little soft so i eamiled sersio asking if i would hold up, he emailed me back the next day and said it shoul dbe fine but he is making me another one and it will ship out in 40 days!! NOW THAT IS SERVICE!!!!!!

Ive ordered from Sergio on 3 separate occassions, it takes a long time and you usually get the package before you get the tracking number. You just have to wait a long time, be patient and you will get what you paid for.

when i asked sergio about a pole he told me it would take 2 months to produce.

Custom Work does not come quick.............. most are built to order............. this includes WDK, Wamiltons, and Watercraft Factory. They are not sitting on a shelf.
