xft steering cable

xft offers steering cables that are thicker and have more throw. does anyone know anything about them. i would like to have one but right now i have a pretty tight budget for fixing my ski. i guess what i am really asking is this something he actually has made or is it a different yamaha cable from a sit down that i could get a little cheaper on ebay.

blowsion sells one as well. I swore i was going to buy it next time i needed a cable but i ended up with an oem because i didn't have the money at the time either.

damn the one cable is cheaper than oem. probably not once you ship it but 86 bucks before shipping isn't bad

i think its from another ski. someone needs to expose the truth. i cant see any company paying to have special tooling made up for a "freestyle steering cable". but i do like the blowsion cable ends. (which i am 99.9% sure i saw those in the mcmaster carr catalog).

best steering cable out there is the oem 06/07 cable.. yamaha beefed up the nozzle section to stop it bending... same length as a 96+... can get them from Greater or atlantic for between $110-130

i actually contacted him about them. it is a custom made cable and he is getting it redesigned due to corosion issues. so i dont think he is selling them right now. i asked him about shipping and availability and that is all he said.
