I am sure everyone has seen pics of the XFT trim system........pretty sweet but is it just me or is anyone else leary about having a Carbon trim system. I would worry about fittings comming out of the carbon and wear on the system over time. I just don't see the thing being durable. Any thoughts or experiences with this unit?

it probably has inserts for the fasteners... I would think it would be fine...

Sergio obviously will warrenty the whole trim system unless your ski gets hit by a semi truck. I've seen a few, no problems. He also uses the same bushings to hold your motor in also.

I was looking at Highrollers system last weekend. It is mounted at about the same leverage point as my system but he gets more throw by having a seriouslely tweaked lever. I picked up a new Diateck Dirt Harry lever and pirch that is just like his so I should be able to duplicate the angle of the nozzle. Although it is probably more than I want for what I do.

Not that I am doing flatwater backflips, but it does give my 350 pound X2 a lot more pop when I am trying to roll and it helps make a bigger setup wake.

It also is fun for knocking my friends off their sit downs if they follow to close.:cool2:

I have been running mine in the surf for 4 months and it is still together, if you constanly land on the tall doing straight jumps it does slam into the rear bow eye....no complaints with mine

Has anyone run XFT trim on an OEM hull? I have a customer that is looking to see how they perform on an OEM hull.
