Nothing built now is directed towards competition.............. The Might Dollar........... If they can build it, People will buy it........... Sorry, Not happening......... $12,000 for a motor or how ever much it is, well, in my opinion is just plain dumb....... cant see it....... but again, just my opinion.

What is a "tuned long block"?
According to XS, their long block for 12k includes custom intake and exhaust manifolds, bedplates, and flywheel cover.

I think the 1400 is awesome! Which of yall have been on a 1200, and not liked it?? (besides BK) Ha ha ha...They are the bomb. Any progression with parts in our sport should make us all happy, whether we can afford it or not. When something becomes stagnant is when it dies.

Forgive my ignorance, but has there been any work to use bigger or stronger bearings than what is OEM? Seems like these motors have the life expectancy of a nat. Could this be increased on future designs or would it be cost prohibitive.
