So I am getting a new XMetal pole for my gen2 bob and want to know should I get the normal -2 to -5 pole or the comp pole? Will the shorter pole help me control my ski better or even flip better?
There is such a thing as too short and it will start to hurt your flips.
There is such a thing as too short and it will start to hurt your back.
i have a -2 to -5 pole on mine...
that being said, i wish i could get about 2 more inches out of it, but im just going to adjust my riser bars forward to accomodate.
Just saying, you cant just rely on what people tell you. You will have to play around with the length. When i had a BOB with adjustable pole I would set it all the way in then go flip, come back to shore and move pole out a inch then go flip again and so on. Turns out about in the middle on the pole was best for me.
I wasnt running a comp length pole, i think it was standared length.
sorry for confusion, wish I could go IN 2 inches or so.... That's what she saidfixed
Are you saying, you wish it could go 2" shorter or longer?
