Custom/Hybrid XMetal pole, comp vs standard adjustable

Does anybody know what the difference is between the comp pole on it's longest setting and the standard pole on it's shortest?

Comp is 30.5 and 27.5, standard is 34- 31 I believe. I posted all the lengths awhile back in the hybrid section. I had a standard a few months ago that I was gonna put on my ROK and I believe that was the length.
