This engine uses an 84mm billet crankshaft designed, built and balanced specifically for the XS1200 (Stroke 84mm x Bore 94.5mm/95mm). The engine features modified Yamaha 66E cases with a custom stator plate allowing the use of a Yamaha 701 / 62T style MSD Total Loss ignition system. No exhaust adapter is required for 701/760 style exhaust systems.
