Bored nozzel too 85 mm and a ATP cone that was my setup on a 718 JM engine TL B pipe and solas mag

What is needed to achieve optimal performance with the popular 9/15 hooker in a solas 144? (Ported 701)
Everyone puts a stubby "freestyle" cone on the end. Why would you "loosen" the pump? So it can rev faster ? @philipclemmons
