Yamaha 1100 in blaster

I'm using wave raider 1100 motor with extreme throttle conversion plate you can move motor back with using gp760 mid shaft is that what you guys recommend for wave jumping? I was thinking about put the 155mm pump with trim in the ski also how difficult is that do I modify the ride plate thanks for your guys help

Id be careful running the extreme throttle plates in the surf and jumping...I ran a set of there older style and bent the front part of the plates that over hangs the front mounts when jumping in the waves, and motor ended up rubbing on the hull...switched to Ada plates and didn't have any further issues

With that said...I did find the triple real heavy in the waves, stable yes with the added weight but it felt like a rock dropping when landing. Ended up switching back to the twin as I found it much better for wave jumping, lighter and more nimble, which is what I use it for.

Flat water or light chop and the triple really shines, and way better than a twin. Handles better and lots of cheap power on pump gas. Definitely a fun ride.

I have the 12/18 for my Yamaha B2 1100 w/ 1200 electrics and the hole-shot is excellent. Was told that the 13/19 may be better as I might be flying by the low end torque from the yamaha with the 12/18. Going to keep running the 12/18 until I find a deal on a 13/19 to try. I love the 12/18 though.
