This is a replacement for the stock plastic ebox housing. Center section is made from engineering photopolymer, with a 1/4" thick Lexan (polycarbonate) glass and all stainless hardware. Both versions come with 2 gaskets, all Stainless hardware, a special silica desiccant holder, color indicating silica desiccant, and instructional videos.
**KEEP YOUR BOX DRY AND INDICATE WHEN ITS WET**
Color indicating silica desiccant absorbs water and keeps your electrical components in a moisture free environment, ensuring they will last years. When the silica beads reach full retention of water they turn pink/clear to alert you that your ebox is compromised and the silica will need to be re-dried and your ebox resealed. The silica is redried in the oven or microwave and is reusable.
We HIGHLY recommend Threebond 1211 on all grommet seams that meet the gasket, full coverage of the grommet is not necessary, but the grommet seams leak water on any ebox enclosure. We also reccommend you put a little on each wire penetration to ensure a 100% sealed Ebox. You are also able to dunk test and submerge it to check for leaks (although not necessary, may aid in finding leaks for eboxs that have stubborn leaks)
As with all our parts, "For Competition Use Only"
LED lights are available for free with your order if requested- the one in the picture is wired into the bilge switch on the spare On circuit
**New MSD or Zeel CDI's Available upon request for custom builds contact us for current pricing!
** Jetmaniac components also available upon request, send your own, or we can order for you!
3 levels of fuses offered standard in addition to our boxes. we can accommodate any requests as well for specific setups, please look for it on our website it is a separate listing.
(These weigh ~1lb 12oz and ~2lbs respectively in comparison to the OEM ebox which weights ~12oz) (about 1 Lb gain in weight)
