Yamaha, Is This a Pro-Tec Rec Head? O-Ring Problem

Dave,
Got the O rings from McMaster and they fit perfectly. I used a bead of Yamabond around the perimeter as well. Engine went together well and I plan to have it tucked back into the hull soon. Cleaning up the engine and engine bay a bit to make her pretty first.

Glad it worked out.
Engine looks squeaky clean already. Sweet looking ski. I am not that familiar with Air Blair hulls. How does it ride?

Unlike any ski I have ever ridden. My two Air Blair's are the "Dart" model. He builds a few different configurations. His most recent ski is the DFX aka: "Fixxie" fixed steer Dart.

They are built for surf riding primarily. However, both of my skis are the perfect all-around recreational ski. 155 mm pumps, light hulls that are short and wide. Makes for a very athletic and fun machine to ride. The tray is unreal and has a ton of room and perfectly laid out. My 13 year old daughter raced her Dart this past summer and did well. My daughters ski is running a 61x 701 with a B Pipe and Blowsion head with 182 PSI. My ski is a ported 64x 760 with the Protec head 190 PSI and Protec pipe.

Nice. sounds like great fun. Great pics.
Impressive that your daughter races a ski with that much power.
