Yamaha SuperJet 701 - Final Year Edition (finished)

Let´s start with a few pictures of my new buildup. Because Yamaha is stopping the Superjet manufacturing nothing makes more sense to build it up as an "Final Year Edition 2020"
The Jetski was bought in Vienna (Austria - Europe) a few weeks ago. Let´s start:

Well everything is sanded and ready for the paintshop.
Every hole is masked with tape from inside - threadholes are closed with bolts.

You really need to remove all the paint off of the hood.
Yamaha didn't remove the mold release compound before painting so it didn't stick. Now if you paint over it it will still let go with your new paint.
 
Looking awesome! You are making me wish I had gone with the black bottom now. As mine sits with no graphics it keeps making me think it's an SXI instead of a Superjet.
Either way the race is on........ You have your pump installed but I have some of the turf done, LOL.
