I dont think the price is awful, although it doesnt have a b-pipe or many other performance mods. From the looks of it, it looks like a 61X WetJet motor, which usually come with a mikuni 46sbn. (Just guessing buy the gold-ish motor color). Make an offer around $3500 or whatever your comfortable with and go from there.

Look like a clean ski with everything you need and more except a pipe. Find out what year it is, even tho it wont mean much as far how the ski was built, it could be good negotiating leverage. Id start by offering 3,500 and seeing how flexible he is.

It's a good possibility that the owner is on this forum or someone here knows/has ridden that ski.

No hood seal, so I bet it hasn't been water tested since the new paint job.

It doesnt look turfed yet in that picture too though. Or it could have a surf seal.

Im looking at it from my phone so i cant really tell but the pic where the skis outside it looks like it bulges out on the gunwells back by the footholds?

Try and take the ski for a ride before you buy and do compression tests. The paint looks good but dont just buy it for looks.

To give you something to compare to, I just bought an 02 RN, BONE STOCK, with the addition of a worx scoop grate and a Tach/hour meter installed at the dealership, 18.6 total hours, $3500...

I would say low 3's

X2.
The 61x/61x motor doesn't make as much power as the 61x/62t that came with that ski from factory.
If you have to put turf and hood seal on it, it will cost you $100-$200 depending on what kind of hood seal and turf you go with.

That looks like a nice ski. Expessially if you can get it for 3500. I wouldnt go more then 4000 on it and thats a little high. It has decent upgrades and looks clean.

That is a nice ski, id say 4K is a fair price, its definetely alot better of a deal than that other one. For 5k that ski should also have a a/m pole, hood, and nose piece, or more engine mods like full port job and or total loss.
