FX-6.9 Boy

VILLIGE IDIOT
I was holding race boats when you were still jumpin off school buses with a snotty nose and an accident in your pants................

Wet sanding is the most fun part of any paint job........................as long as your not the one doing it. It only took FX-6.9 Boy about four and a half hours on Saturday to get the hull done :skull2: We should get parts in tomorrow and start the reassembly. Also got the motor and pump painted on Saturday

More paint, we got the Riva order in and half the Blowsion (should get the other half today) then its on tonight :Banane01: The aluminum pump shoe wasn't exactly the perfect fit, but after some grinding and a little 8115 to glue it in, we were pleased with it. More to come tomorrow.

We got the rest of the boat buffed out last night, installed the pump, shreadmaster, and sponsons, put on some stickers, then got distracted by the Freeloaders DVD that came in with one of our orders. More work tonight, we still have a long way to go, but we gotta have two SJ's and a Blaster for the Lone Star Free ride :woot: :woot:

i like everything but the riva sticker. not sure how the paint will hold up on some of those parts. guess it depends on your prep and adhesion promoters.

yeh, what kind of sponsons are those, are they painted riva sponsons for an sj ?

Yep, Riva SJ free ride sponsons, don't worry about the prep work, I've painted a few things before  All plastic parts have Bulldog adhesive promoter and self etching primer, but if it all falls off, at least we will have some pics to drool over

We put a digital thermal infra-red sending unit in the tank that will electronically transmit a signal to Yamahammer's Power Ranger watch so he can tell how much fuel he has left..........................acually we used high tech masking tape to put a site window on the front of it before we painted it  Yamahammer would not let me put the receiver in his Power Ranger watch............he's really proud of that thing.

OMFG! You painted the fuel tank????? How's that gonna work?
