Didn't have a lot of luck finding the slutty hood mod on pwcyesterday. thought someone here might have a short write up with pics and and materials list. Help a brutha out!

Well I got some pics but not all of em but here's what I got man :headbang:

I remember he said make sure you don't bow out the hood when installing new liner and he used bostick to seal new hoses .that's about it man

seems to me like you can do the same thing for a round nose hood as you can a square hood.

my buddy just tore into his round nose hood today because the 24/7's are going to be a while. he chopped almost 3" of the top on either side of where the hand pole sits to give it a lower look, he also chopped his nose cone, he calls it the 23/6 sr69 hood mod lol i'll post pics tommorrow. i don't think he did anything to the inner liner though.

here are some pics of steve's hood mod that he did until he gets his new hood kit. i thought it turned out pretty good.

if i get measurements. will one of you guys see if my dry pipe will fit this mod? it comes up a good ways....

just make the hood liner fit around it.you are making it yourself so make it to fit.

all you need to do for the dry pipe is make the liner then cut it wherever it hits. Then lay some cloth over the hole. l brush on your resin and push the cloth down into the hole to make a recess. Once it's dry you have a hood liner custom made to fit your pipe. Though I think it would work better if you are using a fiberglass panel for the liner verses some of the other materials that the new glass might not stick to very well.

wats up with the gree on that roundnose? is it suppose to look faded/spotty or did it not get covered good when it got painted?
